Shamil Yusof

Shamil Yusof

Chief Executive Officer

Shamil leads Data Sukan's business direction and partnerships, working across sports technology, data, policy and the startup ecosystem. He also leads the National Sports Digital Transformation Center.

He has taken part in the national conversation on the future of Malaysian sport, speaking on the National Sports Vision 2030 and on sports technology alongside national sports and digital economy agencies.

Before Data Sukan, Shamil spent more than a decade producing concerts and live events, including six years as operations director at Clockwork Events, before moving into technology ventures.

Hafiz oversees operations and project delivery. His experience includes sports technology strategy, industry engagement and collaborative research, including co-authorship of published work on sports biomechanics.
